Maintenance ID: 3053

Description: Sinch engineers will be disabling obitalk on Poly Edge and VVX series phones on both Voyant and Legacy ANPI networks. This is an unused service and has been identified as causing excessive DNS requests from phone and continual queries from the phone to the obitalk server which is no longer in production.

Impact: Phones will restart once the update is pushed to them if there are no active calls on the phone. If there is an active call(s), the phone will wait until call(s) completes, and then will restart. The phone will not process new calls until it finishes rebooting, approximately 2-5 minutes.

While it is important to perform maintenance such as this to ensure the quality of our service, Voyant takes all necessary precautions to alleviate any inconvenience to our customers.
